I used sticks and stones all the time in the military - but not for combat - usually trying to craft a hooch. I think we use them for combat after WMDs are used.

I believe this question has already been answered by Albert Einstein in the 1940's when he said: "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

I've painted rocks never fought with them. I've used small sticks and rocks on a sand table.

I pray that it never happens, but there are plenty of books out there talking about it happening. Whether it be a Nuke, EMP, pandemic or some other cause, it could happen. There are a lot of people that hate us and one well placed EMP would totally reset our way of life. Will it happen, I sure hope not. When, hopefully never.
