A1C Private RallyPoint Member 5923257 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I already swore in and now I’m currently waiting to go to bootcamp June 16th the only problem is I have a pending court case that keeps getting delayed because of the pandemic. The case isn’t serious and is going to result in community service or fines and all parties are willing to let me go then give me my punishment. Would I still be able to go since it isn’t serious? Will I be able to ship out to basic with a pending court case? 2020-05-22T14:30:14-04:00 A1C Private RallyPoint Member 5923257 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I already swore in and now I’m currently waiting to go to bootcamp June 16th the only problem is I have a pending court case that keeps getting delayed because of the pandemic. Did you disclose this information when you swore in? You must notify your recruiter and they will have to delay your ship date until after the court case and punishment has been given. I am going to assume that you told your recruiter about the case in the first place when you initially were recruited, expecting it to be resolved before now. Uncle Sam takes an exceedingly dim view of FUBARs like that. If you ship with a pending court case it can result if you being sent home and the recruiter getting slammed for letting you ship. I went to basic with a guy that did exactly that. 5 weeks in, MPs showed up at our company&#39;s CQ desk and hauled him off in handcuffs.
