There is no "health insurance" available unless you have retired. The VA should treat any service related issues for you (only), for some length of time after you are separated. For example, if they find a cavity on your dental exam when you are outprocessing, they aren't going to keep you in to fix it, but you can go to the VA to have it done.

Disability is questionable. You have only been in for a year and a half and the diagnosis of an adjustment disorder is rather vague. Typically, symptoms will appear within 3 months of a trauma/stress and will lessen over time. If the symptoms do not subside then it would be considered chronic. For it to be considered a VA Rated Disability, you will need evidence that the condition appeared while you were on active duty, and be able to show the stressor that more likely than not caused it.

One bit of good news for you is that you should be eligible for unemployment, and those rates aren't too bad right now.

Good luck with your future endeavors. You can submit for a disability through the VA, they will assess your records and determine what your rating may be, or is. Your rating affects the amount of disability and other benefits from the VA. None of which includes Family medical, generally a stoned and training authorization, which also provides a stipend while participating in approved programs. Lastly, your type of issue is hard to prove against military service based on your length of service and deployment status. Something tangible must have happened for the VA to recognize your issue as service connected. Having said that you can start VA processing while still on active duty. The sooner the better. No one knows what you will receive until you have submitted your records. In 2004 I had a breast reduction and then subsequently liposuction to correct shaping issues all courtesy of my local VAMC. I didn’t have any co payments at that time either.
