Will I be getting paid BAH as Reservist during AIT?

Im going from inactive to active in a couple of weeks and reclassing to 25b. My question is will i be getting paid bah while in school? I dont have any family to live with and all my stuff will be watched by a friend. My recuriter swears to me ill be getting paid bah while there but if turns out to be false then ill end up homeless. Please help

Yes you will. If it's over 29 days, you get full BAH; under 29, partial. You may also call the DFAS (horse's mouth) to confirm this and quench your worries.

You will probably get, at least, partial BAH. As long as you qualify for it, at least.

Also, the BAH will be based on your current living... So if you are living in SF, you will get paid BAH for SF.

As long as you can prove that you are paying rent you will get BAH. Though if you ''renting'' from parents, they might not accept it. In my RSP units they said that I need lease agreement with my name on it to get BAH.

If you are living with someone and/or not on a lease, the document must state you are paying rent and be notarized.
