Will I get BAH if I am on unaccompanied orders and my wife and I will not be together?

I’m currently married, have two children, have shipped HHG, receive BAH, and just PCS’d. However im in unaccompanied orders as my wife and I are not together. Will I get BAH? my children will be visiting for long amounts of time. I cannot keep them or their furniture in the barracks and cannot afford hotels either.

You're not on unaccompanied orders. Just because your spouse is living somewhere else does not mean the Army ordered you to PCS unaccompanied. Unaccompanied tours are overseas tours.

You'll receive BAH for your current duty station, you will not be authorized to stay in the barracks. How you pay for two households is up to you.

Yep, BAH is paid because you're married regardless of your duty station. I *THINK* the only time it's adjusted down, is if you and your family reside in government quarters. I never did, so I'm only guessing that's the case.
