Will I get HOR BAH if I go AGR?

I am in the reserve component, my main focus is that I will be able to make enough money to take care of my family. I went on ADOS orders, I was operations NCO for a year and I was overused the entire time and I was just getting basic pay alone and nothing else. I wouldn't want that to happen again.

Mine is based off the armory. I wish it was HOR.

If you were on ADOS order you should've received all the benefits as a Title 10. I think you just jipped!

Are you talking AGR in the USAR or NG?

If you go on the USAR AGR program it will NOT be BAH @ HOR. You are expected to move if you go to another state unless you get your current unit then you can get the rate of your current residence. If you want to keep your current house and move, you are responsible for your property.

AGR BAH is based off of duty station.

AGR BAH is based off duty/armory location. You will notice that some SM's will pass on promotion if it means going to a location that recieves a lower BAH rate. Odd, but I've seen it.

I was in AGR for 3 years. loved it you should well make enough money to support your family . thier were 4 of us. they also do an housing allowance based on location and they will move your items if things havent changed. and allow you time to fine housing if not on base.
