I am married to a Japanese and she will be living here while i finish Basic and WOBC.<br />I know while in basic you rate for BAH, but she will be living in Japan, and here is OHA. So what will she recieve? And if it is OHA will she recieve COLA and the utility stipend as well? I do NOT want to get with the &quot;debt&quot; hammer later as this is thousands of dollars diffrence. Apparently no one knows over here. Plan on saving my first few paychecks anyway but i would like to know incase of errors. Any help? Also it probably won’t start until you get to your WOC or your first duty station. They won’t give OHA or COLA because your location is CONUS, you don’t have a overseas location that you’ll be attending basic or WOC. I hope this helps.
