Will I go needs of the army for compassionate reassignment or will we have options to be closer to family for help?

My son has autism and my wife and I are requesting a compassionate reassignment back to the states to get him some help. Will we go needs of the army or will they send us close to family so that my wife gets help with our other two children while I'm away?
