However i did not enlist as an E-4 because at the time i was not a certified EMT so i could not use the Civilian Acquired Skills Program (CASP).Will I have to go through the entire EMT training again during my AIT?2018-05-31T13:39:45-04:00PV2 Private RallyPoint Member3674079<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I enlisted 7 months ago as a 68W, but i have since taken an EMT course. Unfortunately since you didn’t go through the ACASP it’s not on your contract. When you get to Golf Company make it known that you have your NREMT. Ensure that is a National Registry and not just a State EMT-B.Response by SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member made May 31 at 2018 7:03 PM2018-05-31T19:03:35-04:002018-05-31T19:03:35-04:00CPL David Witt3678090<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>They will come into your EMT class and ask if there are any EMTs or Nurses. It’s called “fast tracking”. They’ll send you to the company that is starting Whiskey phase. So don’t get too comfortable with the company you’re first assigned to.Response by PFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 2 at 2018 6:57 PM2018-06-02T18:57:14-04:002018-06-02T18:57:14-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member3681398<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As long as your nremt is still valid during the time that you are win school you will be fast tracked to the medic portions.
