Failure of Intelligence: How Liberals Cause ISIS Terror Attacks
The mainstream media says that retaliation against the Islamic terrorists is what will radicalize the moderate Muslims, but Bill Whittle begs to differ...
Seriously. It appears that the West is committing suicide. Islam is on a path to victory for want of a strong, coordinated defense. Don't believe me? Listen to Bill Whittle's explanation and tell me how he's wrong.

Personally, I have a problem with suicide. Like most (at least traditional) Americans, I accept the principles espoused in the Ten Commandments including "Thou shalt not murder". I also accept the corollary that to fail to defend oneself is to make oneself an accomplice in one's own murder. Thus, to refuse to defend oneself is the equivalent of murder. But, that's just my opinion...

Considering that an Islamic government has not actually captured and held territory from a non-Muslim nation since the 14th Century, I think that fears of global domination are unfounded. What they are attempting to do is subjugate the West's cultural influence - the biggest threat to their traditional, male-dominated society. The Mullah fear the youth turning to Western ideas more than anything else, and blame the West for all of their societal ills.
This isn't a new idea. Japan and China did the same thing for decades. As did other cultures.

I thought the same for many years. You couldn't look at a photo taken in a foreign land without seeing kids wearing baseball caps and t-shirts bearing logos promoting American sports teams, entertainment groups, and colleges. They all wore jeans and sports shoes. They listened to American-style music and emulated it. Yes, I could well imagine traditional families all over the world fearing the loss of their children to Western ideas. But then something happened. Birth rates began to drop significantly in Western and some Asian countries (notably Japan) as young men and women lost their traditional values. Meanwhile, Muslim birthrates continued unabated and European nations began importing them as cheap labor to help prop up socialist economies. Any critical examination of population trends will prove beyond doubt that they will become a majority unless the trends are altered. That is a simple fact.

No, its excesses will eventually cause a general revolt against them. We saw this in Anbar Province where AQI's brutality caused the Sunnis to turn against them and join with the Coalition Forces that they had previously been fighting. This has recently happened in France as well.
The world's natural inertia in facing a threat was also seen in Europe in the '30s and in the U.S. before Pearl Harbor. But eventually the threat gets too big to ignore any longer and the backlash will be enough to wipe out the threat. There are more of us than there are of them; the difference to date has been in the determination of the terrorists vs. the determination of the civilized nations of the world to take up arms against them.
The terrorists' determination is at its peak; the civilized world's determination has not yet begun to form.
But it will.
Just as it did in WWII.

It still doesn't add up, Capt Seid Waddell. I'll use France as the example:
The current population of France is a little over 67 million, of which 89.7% (60.2 million) are French and 8.6% (5.8 million) are immigrants, about half from the Magreb (mostly Muslim) and half from Eastern Europe (mostly Catholic). The immigrant community accounts for most of the Muslims in France, most of them in the last two generations. For ease of calculus, I'll use 4 million, about the number of total French citizens who affiliate with Islam as their religion.
Overall birthrate in France is 1.74 per woman, and among immigrants is slightly higher at 2.16 per woman.
Total births to French women in 2014 was 634,027.
Total births to immigrant women was 55,056.
Even if I abstract out that a number of the immigrants were from Eastern Europe, the "native" French birthrate is a full order of magnitude over the immigrant rate.
Ergo, the "threat" to French culture or possibility of takeover by Islam can only come from immigration outpacing birthrate. That would require immigration to increase four-fold to break even, and that includes immigrants from all countries.
In other words, it ain't gonna happen unless the French lose their minds and open the doors wide. Even then, it would take decades, if not centuries.

1SG (Join to see), from what I read, the Muslim immigration rate combined with the higher Muslim fertility rate will result in a greatly increased Muslim population in Europe over the next couple of decades.
European population is in a decline because their fertility rate is much less than the replacement rate required to maintain the population, while the Muslim population is increasing sharply.
"The numbers are startling. Only 3.2 per cent of Spain's population was foreign-born in 1998. In 2007 it was 13.4 per cent. Europe's Muslim population has more than doubled in the past 30 years and will have doubled again by 2015.
Europe's low white birth rate, coupled with faster multiplying migrants, will change fundamentally what we take to mean by European culture and society."

Capt Seid Waddell, I only sampled one country - the one that seemed most relevant with current events. I suppose if we really wanted to get in the weeds, we could look at conversion rates and formerly pious populations (like France's) steadily going agnostic. If they want to "fix" this "problem" they need only to change their immigration laws. But there are reasons why there are liberal immigration policies, and the stagnant birthrate's effect on their economies is first and foremost. It'll be interesting to watch how these very liberal societies grapple with the issue.

1SG (Join to see), as I understand it, a birth rate of 2.1 children/family is required just to maintain the population. As the population ages the effects of a lower birth rate reaches a tipping point in which population collapse cannot be avoided.
