Jr., 3 MSM, JSCM 2145032 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I not about getting my name all over social media because of where I work, because I goggled my name and RP and a bunch of other social media stuff popped up and I&#39;m not sure if that cool or not, NOW LINEDIN, I did join and post my profile but I did not built like I did on RP point I did post my resume and cover letter and people are contacting from outside sources, I&#39;m not sure if that is a good thing or not but I&#39;m being careful with who I speak to on there. It did help me build my profile on RP some but like I said I&#39;m on here because I think resume and cover letter fundamentals should be expressed more in NCOES courses, that one of my main reason I&#39;m on here to help the veterans who got passed over and the NCO&#39;s and Officers who are currently service that we can change the system of NCOES and what ever the officer got through as well, ACAP and TAPS help but not that much. I don&#39;t know what these other social media website do for you but if there going to charge me to be on their site, it is not worth it, and if someone is going to charge me to look at my resume and cover letter, I have much better and professional people on here as contacts or in the civilian work force that can guide me to a much better resume. Don&#39;t be fooled, please don&#39;t waste your hard earned money on something you can do yourself. If you went to college and studied yourself you can sit down a design a plan for yourself, it takes a few hours and a lot eyes to make sure your got the right wording. I will tell you LINKEDIN as a lot of question about you and personally I don&#39;t care much for it, but I did what I want to and if I score a job interview off of the site, then be it, but if not I always have my contacts in the security world, Networking is the Key to success and going out and looking on social media is key as well , USJOB.com. Jobs are there you just have to find them and have the tools and a good resume and cover letter to start, This don&#39;t happen over night. Response by SFC William Stephens A. I get some traffic- but a lot tends to be someone that wants to sell me a product or service that will help me. I am not currently looking for a job- but have heard decent things from those that are. I like how some jobs now can be applied just by linking the account. RP is also a great tool but the benefit is more for, I believe, when transitioning out of the military into the civilian sector and applying for jobs. I have both either way and I&#39;d recommend the same.
