I am six credits until I gain my BA; I have used TA for all of it. Will I be able to proceed to a Master's program using TA when I have my BA? I am reading that it will, but I am also seeing that TA only covers one degree.. Will TA cover my Master's Degree after using it to do my Bachelor's? 2019-11-12T21:55:41-05:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 5229995

I am finding mixed answers and for some reason my computer won't open the AR on TA, which leads me here. Additionally, many Master Degree programs charge a higher rate than the TA will cover, so you may have to come out of pocket for the remaining balance or utilize some form of financial aid. This is all coming from first-experience. Congratulations on your upcoming achievement and enjoy the educational journey. TA will only pay for one degree at every level, not one degree only. Also, they will only pay up to $250 per SH of your masters degree. You can use your GI Bill to cover the rest with top-up. You're getting mixed information because the policy just changed about a year ago. Webster and Post Universities I believe have Masters programs that TA covers 100%, most schools however, TA will probably cover about 25%, which is still better than funding it all yourself. It is still $250/hour, with the semester hour cap like the BA. Apply for scholarships and grants, or take out student loans to cover the remaining amount.
Arizona State is about $1800 per course, and TA covers $750 for me for each course (3 hrs each), so I had to take some loans - still, under $20k in loans for a MA EMHS done entirely online while having a fully salaried job, from a good school that doesn't prey on military I think is a sweet deal.
