Will the Army pay for a Reservist to get PRK or LASIK following a deployment? 2018-06-06T18:12:00-04:00 CPT Private RallyPoint Member 3690511 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I know reservist get 180 days of Tricare Prime after deployment and was wondering if it covers either of the 2? It is possible though. I think that I got through the whole process in about 180 days. I would jump on your command to get the paperwork started ASAP. As far as the &quot;necessity&quot; factor referenced in the other comment, certain MOSs take precedence over others when it comes to corrective eye surgery (or at least they did while I was in). Combat arms, pilots, and a handful of others will get shuffled to the front of the line and the process sped up. Priority may go Active Duty first. They usually require a certain amount of time left on active duty to receive it.
