They now wish to ignore the MILLER ruling, which defined the "protected weapons" as those "useful in militia service". What would be more "useful" to militia service than a civilian version of the standard infantry rifle, lacking only the full-auto capability?

CPT Jack Durish - I don't think the term "full-auto" was around back them. Weapons were considered automatic, semi-automatic or single shot (with a few other minor definitions that further defined the three catagories) to the majority of people. The language we see today with the multiple sun-catagories are thresult of 60 years of verbage evolution.

You got that right Ealph. Guys like us are used to being in a group of varying demographics, all types working together to accomplish the mission. Sure, at times there will be a disagreement that turns into a few punches being thrown, but the matter is forgotten about 15 minutes later. I disagree with your assessment of intent (not the result by-the-way), that would be the same as saying the intent of the home invader was to not the break the law, but to improve his financial status.

SFC Ralph E Kelley - The key word is "infringement". The Left is a cancer on our society and like cancer, it doesn't just kill you, it eats away at your vital organs until you die. Infringement is the Left metastasizing. The only difference between the Left and cancer is "intent". Cancer simply follows some warped genetic code. With the Left, there is intent in everything they do
