Unlikely, this has been one of the most viscous administrations with regard to whistle blowers... not that Chelsea Manning counts as a real whistle blower, just that it would be uncharacteristic of this administration.

He shouldn't pardon that POS but there's a good chance he will. The chances of him pardoning deserter Sgt Bergdahl are probably higher.

I doubt it. Even before Manning was convicted, the President was insistent that the prosecution go forward. I think if he were to do anything, it would be clemency, not a pardon, but I doubt he will do that.

She's not getting out anytime soon. Since the administration is still gunning for both Julian Assange's and Snowden's capture and extradition, we can be reasonably confident that Manning is going to stay in that cell for a good while longer.

No the President will not pardon Chelsea Manning before he leaves office, this is my personal opinion. The question I have is, why would you think this? Every president pardons 100's of people before leaving office for whatever reason. I’m pretty sure his staff does most of the work to assist him in who he should pardon. The last 3 president’s pardoned 100 criminals before leaving office so what makes President Obama any different when he leaves office? Hopefully the ones he does pardon are not a treat to America, most are for petty crimes. Just saying

I doubt it as Manning intentionally did what he did in an act of disloyalty to his command if not to the United States.
As for other Presidential pardons, I don't think Berghdal's case will come to court before the Pres. leaves office.

Hell no. Same goes with Burdahl. Both of them have some issues that put their fellow soldiers at risk or death.
