How many people are planning to see The Interview? Do people think it is poor taste to release it, or is it our freedom of speech to make a movie parodying a world leader?

I plan to see it. Poor taste? No. It's a parody, a comedy. I have no problem with it.

Making fun of those in authority is an American tradition. I'm impressed that after North Korea's rather transparent threats to carry out a 9/11 style attack on American movie theaters, we didn't formally respond as a nation.

I would watch it. North Korean fanaticism can stay in North Korea.

1LT Private RallyPoint Member. I really hadn't planned to see it . . . not my favorite actors . . . and it doesn't look like particularly high brow humor. If Kim Jong Un hadn't bothered to take a swipe at Sony Pictures Entertainment . . . it would have probably just been dropped with little notice out from empty theaters in less than a week. I wasn't going to see it before and I still not going to spend 10 dollars on a movie ticket to watch it. I'll wait for it be free on TV. I have not been a big fan of Seth Rogan, and the movie neighbors killed any thought of me watching one of his movies in the theaters.

Just finished watching this movie at the Alamo Drafthouse. It was sold out. Overall, a pretty good movie and very funny. Great entertainment for a laid back Christmas Day :)

For those who don't want to pay to see this movie, but are curious enough to want to see it, then I happen to have a link to where someone has uploaded the movie into a google docs file in it's full 1080p glory for people to watch. Enjoy everyone.

My personal opinion on the movie? Funny but pretty low brow, but that's a Seth Rogen movie for you.

This movie needs to be played nation wide. The little people who helped put this movie together need to get paid for they are probably not as wealthy as the main actors, the director or the producer. Also, not to play it gives into the cyber terrorists and I don't like to bow down to anyone. So yes, I plan to watch this movie and at the same time I will helping to support the families of the employees who helped to make this movie possible.
