With the Army IPFU wear-out date long past, can soldiers wear their old IPFU items with civilian attire?

Example: I have a box of IPFU gear that I haven’t worn because it was an official uniform item. Now that the black APFU is the standard can the grey ones (IPFU) be worn at the gym?

Although I think it is fine, SSG Manuel is correct, it being left up to the post commander. I've seen it pretty often here, in Kuwait, and to my knowledge there has not been any push back or corrections made.

I have a few sets of BDUs that I had cut into shorts and hemmed the fringe so they look like shorts. I wear them doing yard work or fishing it’s nice having the pockets. Probably going to do the same to these New old ACUs. The best winter coats for shoveling the snow are my BDU cold weather coats with the wool sweater or green inserts. LMAO I just dated myself
