With the new board proceedings, can a SFC be involuntarily separated through QMP for failing and being dropped from Drill Sergeant School?

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is crazy question for senior NCO to be asking but I don't seem to find a clear answer after doing all the research, so here it goes: with the new board proceedings, can a SFC of almost 18yrs of active duty service be involuntarily separated from the Army through QMP for failing and being dropped from the course Drill Sergeant School with having a 1059 that reflects the failure of the course in his OMPF?Thu, 12 Nov 2020 17:28:26 -0500With the new board proceedings, can a SFC be involuntarily separated through QMP for failing and being dropped from Drill Sergeant School?

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You'll only be separated through QMP for items that cause a referral to QMP. The 1059 for failed course only applies to NCOES.SFC Private RallyPoint MemberThu, 12 Nov 2020 20:21:51 -05002020-11-12T20:21:51-05:00Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 12 at 2020 8:57 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Im pretty sure the new system got rid of QMP. Now you still get scored by board members between 1 and 6+. If your score is below a 2+ you are found Not Fully Qualified and a HQDA Bar to Continued Service will be imposed. The Bar gives you 1 year to correct yourself before the next evaluation board. If the next year you are still NFQ you will be separated. If you raise your score to FQ the Bar is lifted.MSG Private RallyPoint MemberThu, 12 Nov 2020 20:57:49 -05002020-11-12T20:57:49-05:002020-11-12T17:28:26-05:00
