My sister was repeatedly raped in the Navy in 1969 (she's 74). While processing her claim, I was told that she would not be grilled for information, even though we know his name, and that she would be granted 100% disability for her PTSD, and receive full benefits. She did not receive a 100% rating. I don't know where to turn to get satisfaction for her.

How are Army Reservist Veteran who completed the 8 year term obtain an ID to file a disability claim? Unfortunately, my military medical records and personnel records are lost. I don't have access to my complete years of service (DD214). I only have a copy of my service for basic training and AIT, and this doesn't show enough duty time.
I really need some help because I'm getting the run around and it's becoming truly depressing.

Will Infertility treatments ever be offered to women veterans? as of now it is written the veteran must have a service connected disability that caused infertility or the service connection be infertility. when will this expand to 100% service connected vets with no service connection to infertility or to female veterans in the VA healthcare system to receive services such as IUI or IVF or help cover the costs of IVF medications?

Why is it that I am being charged for Doctors visits and medications for a problem that has taken time to develop in my hands working in the Navy as a Storekeeper from 1976-1997. Having started out without computers and all information was hand written and processed to 1992 it was computer generated. You still had to type and process orders/requisitions by typing as I am right now. I am being told I can't apply cause of my financial status. (WTF). it wasn't my financial status when I was working for the NAVY 24 hours a Day Seven days a week.

Please tell me why women are still devalued in the disability claims. I have suffered for over 46 years from ptsd from rape and have been under treatment throughout the years various places and va facilities and yet my rating is still very low. Men would fare far better in the system and do. They receive 100 percent for sleep apnea after drinking the night prior to the test so they can get a rating. I have gone thru rape, court martial and pain for years and dont have to fake…where is the system fairness? Please explain. Im not the only one

I enlisted in 1981 in the delayed entry program to serve three years active duty in the U.S. Army as a trained Combat Medic and Patient Care Specialist, 91B, 91C10. I began basic training in Oct 1981 and advanced to the rank of E-3 while successfully excelling in Class room and on the job training while stationed at Ft. Sam Houston and Fitz Simons Army Medical Center. My first and only permanent party at Ft. Hood proved to be traumatic and disabling, within days of my arrival as a new recruit at 6th Cav HHC 34th Support, I was targeted for relentless sexual harassment and was a victim of two significant military sexual trauma events I reported and sought help up the chain of command. I was criminalized starting April 83, court martialed on fabricated minor alleged entrapment charges and discharged under other than honorable conditions with bad conduct papers. I was misdiagnosed but not ever treated by the ARmy or VA with a Borderline Personality disorder and rediagnosed and treated with dirty bandaids by the VA Health care system from 1995 - present with a confirmed 'Severe and chronic PTSD/MST' diagnosis the VA and DOD claim along with the ARmy I will never be compensated for or properly medically treated for due to the character of discharge that the VA Health cares system actions and inactions in medical negligence and VA administrative fraud! How do I have PTSD diagnosed by the VA Health care system since 1995 - present specifically for Military Sexual trauma but continue to be told by the benefit side that it is not military service connected and/ or the patriarchal sexist discriminatory blatant hostile DOD and ARmed Services and VA and all the Service organizations and government, quasi government and non profits won't help any of the hundreds of thousands of vets like me. Shame on all of you but God forgive us all.

I was contacted by someone in the VA, asking me to participate in a Vietnam Era Women Veteran's health study. I agreed and asked to be seen at the Las Vegas VA hospital on 7/25/22. Unsure of where to direct this but, I am curious why some service-connected conditions, primary and secondary, are connected as "non-compensable" and "this is the highest scheduler evaluation allowed under the law for this condition."

It seems that any diagnosed condition or disorder that is a direct result of service should be compensable under the program's intention.

When the new VA Life insurance begins Jan 2023, will
Veterans that need life insurance be able to purchase the product , if the don't have a service connected disability? I'm 74 yrs old , was discharged in 1969 with an honorable discharge, Will I be eligible to purchase a policy? I have recently be classified as Legally Blind by the VA? I am a veteran of both the Navy (active duty) and Air Force (Reserve) retiring with a Reserve retirement. I am also retired from federal service. I can enroll in either Tricare for Life or health care through OPM. My question is, am I eligible for any health care services from VA if I don't have a service related injury? Is it my fault I was raped and my (male) commanders never did the paperwork? Is it my fault that the person who raped me was a SGT with a MP Unit? Is it my fault I joined the military doing the "Good Ole Boys" era? When I returned from Iraq was told had breast cancer. Breast had to be removed was done by surgeon at Air Force Base. Since due to COVID they wont see retired veterans, however I'm 100%disabled combat vet how can I get them to do reconstruction surgery since only civilian surgeon in my area refuses

When I left the Navy in 1994 no one told me I could file for medical issues that I had from my time in the service. I paid out of pocket for over 20 years for my physical therapy and other issues. How Do I get reimbursed. I am currently 100% SC.

Does the VA (or will the VA) offer relocation expenses services - reimbursement, if you are moving for the first time since retirement from your last duty station? I missed the opportunity to relocate at government expense in 2016 (1 year after retirement).

I would like to thank you all for notvsbsweing my question. As a result I will cancel the biopsy of the lump in my breast scheduled for tomorrow. An appointment that took 3 months to get .An an appointment that means traveling out of state since treating aTranswoman in Texas seems to much to ask.

What is the Check-In Care Journey?

THE CHECK-IN CARE JOURNEY
All Check-In needs to get started is contact information and a general description of needs.
Step 1: Reaching Out
The care journey begins by sign-up or referral. Once connected with Check-In, a trained “Care Coordinator,” will be assigned to you or your loved one within 24-48 business hours. The Care Coordinator will listen, answer questions, and begin the care process.
Step 2: Getting Connected
After administering an initial intake screening, the Care Coordinator will develop a personalized care plan, matching you or your loved one's unique needs to the programs and organizations best able to provide help.
Step 3: Receiving Care
The Care Coordinator will then assist in scheduling care, with treatment options ranging from outpatient and telehealth programs to intensive, in-person care programs. The Care Coordinator will continue to serve as an advisor and guide throughout the care journey.

I am trying to help my mother qualify for Aid & Attendance, but her years of service were not during war time as they were between the Korean and Vietnam Wars. She says that she had to get out of the military when she got pregnant in 1959 as pregnant women could not stay active duty. Is that true? If so, how do they hold that against her? Without that sexist policy, she would have in all likelihood served 5 more years and met the war time standard on her own.
