Below is the Soldier 360 course. This is a comprehensive and holistic resiliency training course designed to help you recover and strengthen mind, body and spirit. Does anyone know about this program? Do you think we need to have a transition program for wellness and resiliency? I worked with this team and it's a great program and now there is a question; do we need to expand this to our Veterans?

Transitioning members don't need resiliency training, they need reality training. I've helped enlisted personnel and company grade officers who never once filled out a job application or had to truly compete for employment because they went from school straight into military service. To be resilient is to bounce back. The current resilient training is designed to help deployed service members adjust to life at home. If anything, the transition classes need to be broken down by demographic. I didn't need training on financial readiness and education benefits, whereas a first-time enlistee that is 21 years old may need it. There should be a transition class for retirees that is separate because the financial challenges we face are far different from someone who just gets a discharge and no benefits thereafter.
