Would an operating system with a political agenda put you off using it?

Without doubt. I'm to the point that I don't even watch TV shows that I used to, because they've turned to political evangelizing. I even unfollowed all of my favorite authors on twitter because I got tired of them being political.

I really hated "Trusted Solaris" - required to use it for work - but deeply annoying. Sandy :)

Due to the nature of my work I try to avoid OS that may already have backdoors embedded though it can't be completely overcome, things like this make it obvious someone has put holes in it.
