SPC Chris Early852386<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am in the process of getting my experience transfered over to my civilian job, i was a 63B10 H8 ( light wheeled mechanic and wrecker operator). I brought the paperwork in to my current employer to sign so it will show im currently in the same feild of work, but they didn't understand how my experience was going to transfer over. My question is for those who has transfer your experince over how did your employer repond to it and did they understand that your military experience is the same or better than your civilian experience.Would anyone happen to have any insight into getting your military experience transfered to the civilian sector?2015-07-29T10:47:12-04:00SPC Chris Early852386<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am in the process of getting my experience transfered over to my civilian job, i was a 63B10 H8 ( light wheeled mechanic and wrecker operator). Majority of the skills you do in the military that have a civilian equivalent require have a separate requirements, qualification or exam that you have to have. Hover some allow experience to take the place of some requirements. . Check what those requirements are and you will be able to see if your military experience counts.Response by PO2 Jeffrey Sheibels made Jul 29 at 2015 4:18 PM2015-07-29T16:18:28-04:002015-07-29T16:18:28-04:00SPC Chris Early853152<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a target="_blank" href="https://www.cool.army.mil">https://www.cool.army.mil</a>Response by SPC Chris Early made Jul 29 at 2015 4:22 PM2015-07-29T16:22:58-04:002015-07-29T16:22:58-04:00CW2 Michael Berthiaume867563<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Check out the CPOL website and see the job description for 5803 Series or UsA Jobs for Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic and use whats applicable.
