As long as the person can still perform the range of motion, PT etc., then it would not be an issue. If anything it would help as it takes away some of that tissue that would have been measured in a tape.Response by SSG Brian G. made May 30 at 2019 9:43 AM2019-05-30T09:43:14-04:002019-05-30T09:43:14-04:00SGT Nicholas M.4682324<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It shouldn't as long as she doesn't have any service limiting conditions. Make sure your "friend" also has documentation from a doctor stating that there is nothing abnormal about the healing process nor do they have any restrictions in daily life. That will assist when the recruiter and MEPS when they go through the medical packet. One less step your friend has to take.Response by SGT Nicholas M. made May 30 at 2019 11:09 AM2019-05-30T11:09:22-04:002019-05-30T11:09:22-04:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member4682703<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It depends on the nature of the "tummy tuck" you need to check the DoDI 6130.03, AND AR 40-501. What was the nature of the surgery? She will also be required to have all surgical notes and medical documentation from the surgery. If she had a "tummy tuck" which also included any type of bariatric surgery, that is a disqualifier.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made May 30 at 2019 1:07 PM2019-05-30T13:07:03-04:002019-05-30T13:07:03-04:00CPL Gary Pifer4682911<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Not sure if this still applies.....I did my last over 40 National Guard Enlistment Physical outside of MEPS at a Naval flight Reserve Clinic....2002...19D in the middle of USN fighter pilots....When...I filled out forms it was always truthfully executed in bad cursive... loaded with acronyms...But even though I was over weight...I taped out...I could also do 65 push ups...80 sit ups...and walk...One thing I learned...If I run my mouth...I get waivered... when I wrote it down...always truthfully...they pass it....so what is the Latin Medical term for Tummy Tuck again...Response by CPL Gary Pifer made May 30 at 2019 2:14 PM2019-05-30T14:14:20-04:002019-05-30T14:14:20-04:00PFC Private RallyPoint Member7950110<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As far as I know, the first two weeks should be as gentle as possible in the living conditions, so it is recommended not to go to work before this period.Response by PFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 26 at 2022 3:57 AM2022-10-26T03:57:17-04:002022-10-26T03:57:17-04:00PFC Private RallyPoint Member7956833<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As far as I know, the first two weeks should be as gentle as possible in the living conditions, so it is recommended not to go to work before this period.Response by PFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 30 at 2022 10:19 AM2022-10-30T10:19:11-04:002022-10-30T10:19:11-04:002019-05-30T05:43:20-04:00
