Would it be appropriate for Rally Point to provide an area within Rally Point members' profile for posting of individual or unit awards? Thinking about awards for achievement, valor, other medals and ribbons awarded during the course of military service, this would include badges earned, such as CIB, Airborne, CAB, Infantry Expert, etc. Perhaps include foreign awards earned, Jump Wings, Vietnam Gallantry. This would be voluntary, maybe with no effect on personal Rally Point score.

Should RallyPoint Web designer consider adding a Section in the Profile for Military Awards for both military personnel and civilian personnel?

Do you think RP members will be honest for the most part and only add those they actually received?
(or)
Do you think some RP members will add awards they didn't actually receive?
(or)
Do you think there is no need for another "love me" section on the profile?

Please vote and provide your thoughts?

I think in some cases this is already happening, although not to the extent you are addressing. The Together we Served website has a great setup to display everything you have earned.

PVT Mark Brown - Yes, and I have a profile there on Air Force together We served with a few hundred pictures.

You can include them in your profile that exists on RP now. Being able to select badges and medals or complete ribbon racks should be doable and probably wouldn't add to much in the way of Terabits of superfluous data. I'm in!

Yes. Also provide link to “ribbon rack” tool so every one who wants to enter their awards gets an illustration of the same quality. Tool should resolve prescidence issues and accompanying criticism.
