I am reclassing from 12C to 68C. I just signed my contract a couple days ago, so I do not have orders yet, but I do have an ATRRS slot for both phases. I am currently stationed in Fort Bliss, married with kids, and I was hoping to come back here for the second phase but I actually got Tacoma, WA. Would it be possible to request a change of location? Also, my younger son is in the EFMP program, so it would be easier to all stay together.
Thank you.

Unless EFMP plays a factor, which I doubt it will, there is little to no appetite to change a phase 2 location once you get to Ft Sam for phase 1. Class seats are capped for phase 2 sites so they want to ensure students move forward as scheduled to avoid a situation where you “bump” someone who was originally slotted for a Bliss phase 2 and that person is stuck in a holdover status until the next iteration.

Is there a way to "time" the phase 2 location? I am thinking about getting back in and would like to re-class to 68C. I would like to end up at JBLM for my Phase 2, since it's closest to home. I have heard that some 68-Series MOS there is a way to to time your phase 2 based on what time of the year you start Phase 1.

In theory, yes. It would be up to the person who makes the ATRRS reservations to plug you in to the corresponding class seat. Then the responsibility is on you not to fail and get recycled in phase 1.

1SG (Join to see) - Thanks for the input. How does the PCS move between Phase 1 and Phase 2 typically work? Is there sufficient amount of time to do a DITY move and find a house? Worst case scenario is I would move from HOR (Oregon) to Ft. Gordon, which is about 5 days of driving (based on the 350miles/day standard), but of course I would need time to find a house as well.

No way you’d have enough time to do a Personally Procured Move (PPM, new name for DITY) and house hunt.

This looked interesting, I'm unsure if 2 yr RNs can go Army WOCS to go warrant, however, you might ask, if nothing else, USPHS is allowed warrants, howeverz, they've apparently never had them, I gather....

Call DANTES, ask about their exam program, I think they also issue military transcripts, as well, from what I've gathered....
