To be honest, I don't think they should even be here! For them to enlist in our military is disrespect and a possible open gate to kill soldiers at any cost , ; I.e.. While you sleep, poison your food, making suicide vest things like that!

I would be against any attempt to have any group of people to have to enlist in the military unless the military selective service draft is active SFC (Join to see).
If you meant to ask if any able bodied Syrian refugee adults could be allowed to enlist in the US military that is another question entirely. In that case each potential recruit would need to be thoroughly vetted and I would recommend they not be deployed to teh Middle east while we are engaged there. We could use similar rules to where Japanese Americans were deployed in WWII. The Japanese Americans distinguished themselves in Italy - 442nd Regimental Combat team had a record numbers of medals for heroism.

Before reading your post my answer a was flat yes that I'd be against it. Almost every time we are in the same discussion you tend to give me a broader perspective. Thank you.

I would definitely be against it,past history has shown through training foreigners through Ft.Benning, Ga some of the training done there I believe may have assisted in some of the terrorists acts.

Be careful not to generalize. I am a foreigner who has been serving this country for 7 and a half years now. And I will continue to do so. Not all foreigners are terrorists, some of us actually look just like you. That being said, I don't agree with Syrian refugees joining our military for reasons mentioned before.

Certainly not generalizing but speaking more on those that were specifically ttained by the United States, who then used the training to become terrorist.
