Not with a rushed, marginally tested vaccine for a virus that in my opinion is not a threat in the US.<br /><br />I should note, that a vaccine may be of immeasurable help in regions where Ebola is out of control. Quite frankly, those communities have nothing to loose and any potential risks from a new vaccine are clearly outweighed by the consequences of not trying to stop the spread.<br /><br />I also wonder, when a vaccine becomes available, will the DOD add it to the military vaccination program. I don't see Ebola as a threat here in the USA right now, so I would probably choose not to get the vaccine. <br /><br />I think it would be great if we could help those threatened by this disease (in Africa) with doses of the vaccine. We now have disposable equipment where all testing is done bedside. At tremendous cost. No, the vaccine is a waste even at my level. Nurses are safe if they follow std precautions.
