Would you inform a service member's chain of command for this type of activity at a protest?

This is a video from the St. Louis Black Lives Matter protests. I am not passing any sort of judgment on BLM. I am very upset about the man representing himself as a Marine, and of course the miscreant that drags Old Glory on the ground. Does anyone know this supposed "Marine"? If so, would you report his actions to his Chain of Command.

Hypothetically is the policy against political activism something that can be reprimanded within a servicemember's chain of command or does it automatically require UCMJ action. When I was in I didn't make public hardly any of my stance other than some light comments. I'd imagine it would be better for a servicemember to get in trouble within the scope of his command rather than having an outside influence cause unwanted/unnecessary scrutiny if possible. Annoying as some comment we see during the political season, most Veterans know that Servicemembers should remain private and that is probably good advice unless the policy is changed?

In the video I didn't see the colors drug, or BLM in an active sense. I heard some hag wasting oxygen screaming Black Lives Matter, but she was the only one, and there were other Blacks in attendance. I will applaud the cop who was disrespected in every sense of the word by her and kept his professionalism while being tested. I'd like to know who Carl is. Carl and Murphy are usually two people you don't want near you. If there is a Marine there, and he's not in uniform, what reg is he breaking? As long as he doesn't show his uniform, or call himself representing the Corps, or assaulting anyone, he should be good to go right?

Sorry, the video seems to have been taken down and replaced. It had a guy professing to be a "Marine" accosting a police LT over the Department's training plan. The guy would not shut up about being a Marine and tried to use this status as an "inside knowledge" point to harass the police LT over training.
