Tough choice I love them both! But my deciding factor would be who I'm with. If it's family and friends and I've already successfully embarrassed myself in front of them somehow...ribs. If I'm with co-workers or someone I don't know very well steak.

Ribs for sure. I get steak (prison grade of course) underway every sunday. A nice rack of ribs though? Well that takes me about 12 hours of preparation and work if I'm using my smoker; 5 in a crock pot. The attention to detail just makes them that much tastier.

I would rather have steak. I love BBQ, but steak is versatile enough to be BBQ'd, grilled, or pan fried. If I really want to get wet wipe messy I will just skip the fork and knife and eat the steak pre-Fred Flinstone style. Bear Grylis and I are good like that, but I prefer Coors to pee. Just sayin.
