Although this stinks at first glance, I have to ask is this "ballot access" petitions? You have to have so many signatures to get on each primary etc. With the recent complaints about "false voters" this may just be something as simple as a CYA...

I would never sign a loyalty oath for a particular politician SSgt Alex Robinson. Once elected; however, every military members has already signed an oath ""I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

Weren't loyalty oaths used in Germany in the 1930/40's? Didn't work out well for them or the world. Don't think it will work out any better here today.

No ... But if I did, especially for Hillary or Obama (not a chance, by the way), I would certainly feel no obligation to abide by it, as they don't/did not feel any need to abide by their oaths of office.

Would I? No. I don't commit to anything until I'm filling out that ballot. Also, the Clinton camp is saying that signing was not required to enter.
