I see there are folks with millions of points. I am not sure how you even get that many points. I comment on many stories/posts but start very few but have nowhere near a million points. I am fine with points being awarded but it seems there are ways to load up on points by starting posts and tagging dozens of people in every one of them. I don&#39;t see a need to limit the points per day. That is why my own activity has tapered off quite a bit.<br />I think a link posting limit would bring things back into shape without detracting from the robust topics on this forum. If you have 1 or 30 things to talk about that you feel are worthy of discussion it doesn&#39;t matter. Do you lend mor credence to a post written by someone who&#39;s ranked highly? I don&#39;t. Also the point system is a way of showing off how many people agree with your point of view. Do you know how many people&#39;s opinions should matter when making up your mind on an issue? 1, yours. What may be a daily inspiration for some is spam to others.
