PO3 Steven Sherrill, I don’t know. At first I’m thinking yes, if authorized by the Army and my Command I would purchase it in honor and support of all of those I have known who have had breast cancer ,for a great cause indeed, and I’d wear it for donations only. I'm secure in my manhood and my military hood, but then I think as expensive a one ACU uniform is, I’d just recommend we donate the amount of the uniform to the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign and save everyone some embarrassment and general ribbing.

SGM (Join to see) my mom is a survivor so I like the idea of supporting awareness, unfortunately, many of the charities have less than half of the proceeds going to actual research. I agree that the cost of a uniform, to wear for a day, or for a month would be excessive. What are they now like $60 for a set, not including the patches and tapes?

PO3 Steven Sherill, try over $90.00 I bought one set of the Army's new OCP uniform while TDY at Fort Hood, last month. Now, this did include a pack of 3 of the new Tan-499 t-shirt, Tan-499 belt, and the soft cap, but alll of it was a little over $100.00. This doesn't include the new boots which I will not purchase til later down the road, because I just bought a new pair last year.

Uh huh, yeah I'm sure that would be one for the Smithsonian. Couldn't the Army recognize breast awareness the usual way? By using a laser pointer?

Sunglasses man, You do not want to be caught staring! Laser Pointer has all the subtlety of a howitzer.
