Our Certified Therapy Dog, Beckham, and I would spend some time with disabled Vets when we lived in Western Washington. Low key, usually in hotel lobbies or diners that had rooms off to the side. It's the quiet time when folk are most vulnerable and Becks is pretty sensitive to picking up on it and uses some of his tricks to keep them from crawling into their shell.

You should have seen the day he worked with a "flat tire". The Vets preferred to go to bat for him. CAPT Kevin B.
