MILITARY LIVES MATTER ! however, in answer to your question.. YES.. You DON'T make $170,000.00 + per year, with Extreme benefits.. You get 3 meals a day, and medical.. "Suck it up" execute the mission.. That is what is expected of you, so they can watch ball games and eat dinner with their families !!

No as sometimes soldiers have to hold the ground at all costs. COL Chamberlain of the Maine Regiment was entrusted to protect one of the flanks of the Union Army at Gettysburg. It was crucial he held his ground or the Union army could be flanked and rolled up. COL Chamberlain understood the important role of his Regiment. Exhausted, tired, without ammunition after intense fighting, he ordered fix bayonets and routed the confederates in a bayonet attack of the Confederates.
