RallyPoint Team 987225 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>From: Unilad<br /><br />A young British solider managed to survive warzones in Afghanistan, only to be killed in his home town.<br /><br />Dave Curnow, 20, died from injuries he sustained during a serious assault in the early hours of Sunday morning. The incident happened outside a nightclub in Redruth, Cornwall, and a member of the public found him unconscious on the ground, The Mirror reports.<br /><br />Detective Chief Inspector Mike West, deputy head of major crime at Devon and Cornwall Police, said: “The victim was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske and was immediately transferred to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth due to his injuries.
