I would like to share this video with the military community
https://youtu.be/PKQcKuNmrzg
You can search it also by going to youtube and typing in bardolph in the search engine. It emotionally touched me as a PTSD survivor and also impacted me about this problem of stolen valor. There will always be that 10% that ruins it for the rest of us. Please watch and share. Comment below.

Thank you both for watching. Funny how the guy playing the role of sgt looks like a younger version of myself. Stolen valor is a huge problem. It's the reason we as veterans have to prove ourselves with documentation and bend over back words to get the help we need and deserve. Let's put the people in their place and lead from the front like Hal Moore and CSM plumbley. We were soldiers once, and young.

My husband is an e5 medically retired combat veteran who loses his mind about stolen valor and suffers not just physical pain but emotional pain from ptsd as well. One day while working in a restaurant we had not one but two phonys eating and accepting credit for what others thought were military members. One had the recessed deployment flag in the center rank position with a red shirt under and black boots like the paratroopers wear while in greens and the other had unit patch where the flag was to be placed. I questioned them and instantly shamed them and told them that I take.great offense especially being my husband a disabled veteran with one of the most elite units in the army the 173rd. I let them know.a true soldier or military member may have done serious harm that it's best for them to.change. Thank god my husband wasn't there he always says if I ever see a shitbag doing this ill let them know and believe me they will miss themselves. My husband's unit lost men and women hero's in my eyes while.in Afghanistan, it kills me when witnessing his nightmares and sweats he has still to this day resulting from.combat. This stolen valor scumbags walking around who think it's no big deal should spend time with real veterans and see what really is involved with military service. It's more then a uniform, it's brother and sisters trained and taught no matter what to stand up when asked and leave while the cowards who emulate sit back and dream about doing 12, 15, 18 hell beginning of oef and oif 24 months without family friends and comforts facing death daily. God.bless you guys and girls I know the sacrifice behind military life and must say it's very disrespectful stealing something many have died earning.

Ps he had a hip replacement knee surgery and the all.to.common back problems in which his career was cut short. Yeah this really pisses us off and honestly needs to.stop. They should.be arrested and nailed in Leavenworth so they truly can experience what real military prison is. Not civilian jail, I could.only imagine a stolen.valor.inmate telling bubba in jail I'm in for stealing yours and other military members valor. Yeah that's a great answer
