A TR member I know keeps getting invited to participate in awesome development opportunities but leadership keeps sabotaging them or not permitting, despite it being of no expense to the squadron. On top of that leadership won't sign off on member's 1288 transfer request, despite the member being under utilized. Member has amazing performance reports, master's degree, up to date on all trainings and readiness items, nothing less than excellent in Fitness Assessment history and no UIFs.

Capt (Join to see) Rather than submit to such treatment of such a stellar performer, he should raise the ante and start requesting meetings with the upper echelons of that command.
His career is in the trash anyway, he may as well go for broke and perhaps find a sensitive higher level commander!

EXIT that unit if you are unable to communicate your desires in a fashion they will accommodate!

GO GUARD! Go USAF ! Go Navy ! Go USAR SCHOOL ! Go away!

CSM Charles Hayden has a valid point. Since appears he’s artsy in an abyss, minus well check they the Chain of Command and request a transfer. Keep in mind units are exponentially and dangerously jealous of their manning rosters. They rather wait until he’ll freezes over than release a breathing body; even if it costs the service member’s career.
