I followed my father and brother (and best friend) into the Marine Corps ('93-'97) and then wanted to improve the Army a bit so I transferred to the Army in 1997.

- Marine Corps (1993-1997)
- Army (1997-Present)

You and me both - my father entered the USMC in 1963 and was commissioned into the Army in 1987 . . . I entered the USMC in 1988 and was commissioned into the Army in 1993 - the USMC makes the finest Army Officers! Semper Fidelis!

I first went into the Army in 1973, served for a hitch then transfered to the USMC, because I felt I wasn't getting the challenge that I needed... besides, with red hair, I looked much better in their Class A's than the Army green!
