There are a lot of National Guard Officers on Rally Point.  Since the start of the New Year we have entered the recruitment time for each States National Guard Associations. What things does y our state do to get the word out?

Sir,

With all the projected cutbacks on money from not only AD, but also the reserves and guard, I am not sure that many states aren't doing much as far as "getting the word out" as you mentioned as they are looking for ways to save money and redirect these funds for higher priority needs.

I think many of the states may see an increase in non-recruiting pushes from the abundance of SMs leaving active service that still want to serve and will revert over to the state military's.

For now I am not sure any other input could be placed from the states, is MA doing anything different from before the sequestrian cuts began.

Normally we have a commanders dinner that each company commander or higher commander is invited to so that we can tell them what the National Guard Association has done for them.  This year we are braking it up holding three separate smaller dinners in a hope that we can get more commanders or there reps to sit in and listen.
