Would like to get to know a few RP members a bit more- we read each others posts and rants daily. Let's get a bit deeper and share who we are. Last Tuesday 7 Feb 2017 was the 33rd anniversary of joining the Air Force. It has defined my life, goals, and shaped my world vision. I have served on active duty, as a full-time ART in the USAFR, and moved to a traditional guardsman role in my home state, and returned to a full time status in 2000 and still serving. I have been a maintainer, Finance guy, and most recently the Medical Admin Officer. I served 27 years enlisted before my commission. Last evening my unit held our military ball- I was reminded of our unit accomplishments over the past year and many years. The 450ish in attendance I have worked with, deployed with, and grieved with. I am contemplating what comes next for me and have about 4-6 years left depending on how long they will allow me to serve. As I watched the old dogs mingle, I paid attention to the new guard in attendance. Simply the best men and women I have served with and humbled by the opportunity to even be here. Quick look at me- how about RPers. What brought you here, what keeps you here, and share some pictures. I have attached a few shots from last nights ball.
Popped up today- thought I would re-tag it.

Although I only served three years active. It has shaped my whole life. Not one day goes by that I either reflect back ,or use the wisdom from that experience. I don't have many pictures left due to Storms that hit the storage unit it was all in. I like being here for the vast array of experience and Brotherhood. Here is a picture of Pfc Carhart and me at winter survival School near Bad Tolz , Germany.

Thanks for your service...
I used to Work with 909th refueling Squadron in Okinawa... and their Reserve component out of Pittsburg... I could Snag air Lifts to Thailand and Other areas for the Teams when they were doing rotations ...
Folks forget the Air Refusers could also Carry Pallets of Materials and Equipment and when equipped with People Seat/Pallets could Take Up to 50 personnel as well...
