Sorry but in my eyes, dietary restrictions are cause for Medical or Psychological discharges. Seriously Folks. This shit is out of hand.
Vegans, Vegetarians, Cannibals, Peanut allergies, Lactose Intolerance, Gluten Intolerance, Soy Allergies, Fish Allergies, Shellfish Allergies, ALL that shit makes for a detriment to Mission.
Toss in Religion and there's another cases for GTFO. Hinduism forbids meat, fish, poultry and eggs. Judaism forbids emulsifiers and stabilizers of animal origin, gelatin and non-kosher meat. islam forbids pork, lard or any pork substance, gelatin from animal source that is not halal, meat that is not slaughtered in the prescribed Islamic way.
Flame away at me but we CANNOT cater to every fucking body. You joined the Uniform, if uniformity is out of your grasp, GTFO.

Sgt (Join to see) - That's one of the things that's been bothering me. I know I can provide my food while I am at my duty station, but I don't know about deployment and while in the field/training it gets tough.

Personally I'd say start eating as God or Evolution (take your pick) intended you to. Humans are not herbivores. There's a reason you have incisors and canines.
