Vice President Joe Biden has issued a statement through the White House this evening announcing the passing of his son, Beau Biden, a husband, father, and a Major in the Army National Guard and an OIF Veteran; MAJ Biden had been battling brain cancer for some time.

There are things that are strictly off-limits and that is the bashing of politicians children, no matter their age and that includes the first lady.

VP Biden's loss is indeed very sad and we all here want to pass on our condolences to Mr. Biden and his family.
