Having completed Warrior Leader Course in May of this year. I am surprised to say I really did not learn all that much. I felt everything was rushed and no real knowledge was put out. I worked in the orderly room so the paperwork (Awards, Memo's) portion was a snap for me. Other than Land Nav which was a bit of a challenge physically. That hill was no joke! LOL
I really felt like I did not learn anything. I would like to hear other SPC's/SGT's thoughts as if they felt/feel the same way.

I learned jumping from a Blackhawk is much better than a C-130

For my Marines out there, WLC = Sgt's Course. We can compare and contrast experiences with WLC. Let's contribute to SSG Steven Borders discussion.

Thank you Capt Oddman. I wan't sure if the Marines did something similar to WLC. Even though I work with a lot of them. Most are Lance Corporals and Corporals but I never thought to ask them. LOL

I hear you SSG Steven Borders . Those Corporals should be prepping to go to Sgt's Course, if they want to be competitive for promotion, especially as the overall deployment tempo slows down, there will be less excuse not to have gone.
