They are the Maritime Law Enforcement division of Homeland Security, I wanted to join the CG but there was a long waiting list so I went infantry, largest bonus for my asvab score

The Coast Guard has an expanding operations expectation but their capital assets to include many diverse types of ships & aircraft have become well worn with an urgent need for capitalization to replace them. Here is hoping that the Congress wakes up and funds the ship building & maintenance funds for the Coast Guard.
