If you’d like to contact your member of Congress and ask them to introduce and pass the “Pay Our Coast Guard Act” that was introduced by Senator John Thune during the 2014 Government Shutdown. Please follow the link below. It will only take you less than a minute.
Be a part of the conversation, your members of Congress have let you down, and left the Coast Guard unfunded. They can pass a bill that would only fund the Coast Guard, and still have their argument about the Wall.
48,000 members of the Coast Guard and their 9,000 civilian employees should not be forced to wonder when their next payment is coming. I am aware there are federal relief societies out there, and we should utilize them when we need, but the easiest fix, is to get the House, Senate and President to realize, “WE” are not a part of their overall disagreement.

Our men and women of the coast guard work diligently , selflessly , and are committed to serving their country and defending it every day !! The least we can do is make sure they are paid to protect us !! They do so much and for so little and to take this from them is a slap in the face !!! They deserve so much more !! So President Trump ! Step up snd make it happen !!! Pay our men and women of the military and the coast guard and work together Congress to make it happen !! Let’s hold the Congress pay until they come to an agreement . Just sayin
