John, Trump is blaming this on the President. He already said that this is his own shutdown.

True....not the first and won't be the last. But when it happened on Obama's watch, Trump famously made the statement that if the President was a true leader, the shutdown wouldn't happen. He said a shutdown is a failure of presidential leadership. Now? He views a shutdown on his watch as a show of strength, and said he would be proud to make it happen and would take the responsibility. That was right up until it actually looked like it was going to happen, when it suddenly became the Democrat's fault. So he was against it, before he was for it, before he was against it........and now he's just trying to blame it on someone else (even though his party still controls everything at the present time). Leadership? Not much......

It's going to get worse. The Republicans control the House, Senate, and White House and he can't get what he wants done. It will be even harder in January.
