Yes, I do. December 21st, 1981. The day I marched across the parade deck on Parris Island South Carolina. In some ways it feels like a lifetime ago and in others like it was only yesterday.

1981 also ! But i cant remember the exact day ! It was in August and I went to Mos 1141 School in Court House Bay Camp Lejuene NC and then got to be at Home in Azle Texas for the entire month of December before reporting to my first Duty Station which was at the EL Toro Airstation California on January 1st 1982 !! I was in Platoon 2047 - DI was Staff Sargeant Tupulo

Dec 21, 1990. I have a hard time remember my kids, parents and siblings birthdays, but not the day I became a Marine. Semper FI.
