My youngest son who graduates this spring from Mizzou with a degree in strategic communications is interested in the USNR DCO progam. The web site is somewhat vague. Does anyone have a POC in Reserve Officer recruiting he can talk to? The only info I can find is: https://www.public.navy.mil/bupers-npc/officer/Detailing/rlstaffcorps/public_affairs/Pages/ApplyforDCO.aspx

Here are some points of contact at Navy Recruiting District, St Louis, MO;
(Wish I could be of better help, but everyone I know is comfortably retired)

Officer Programs Officer: [login to see]

Command Master Chief: [login to see]

Chief Administrator: [login to see]

(The Officer Programs Officer should be able to assist him directly or put him in direct contact with the DCO Programs Officer for the District. Depending on how the NRD is managed. I'm further North or I could be of a bit more assistance. )

I do hope someone else comes up with something more direct for you. I suspect you will be able to get more done calling direct, than I can by contacting 20 year retired Officers. ;)

Sir, your best bet is to go talk to an officer recruiter (OR). I couldn’t find much online either, so I just called the OR and went from there. One good source of info is airwarriors.com.

Does he have a bachelors or a masters? I went the DCO route and got picked up last year with just a BA, but I’ve also been a DAC for 18+ years. Please feel free to shoot me a private message and I’d be happy to share my own experience.
