What is Navy Reserve duty like? On the Army side, there is a push towards three- and four-week annual training periods, and monthly training is often shifted so some months have no training while others are Thursday through Sunday. Does the Navy Reserve do that too? What does the monthly and annual training consist of?

Navy Reserve, drill one weekend a month and annual two-week training a year.

When I was actively drilling the ATs could be up to 17 days. That was usually the case with mine since I usually travelled to COMNACACTS UK or COMNACACTS Rota. I also did a 17 day AT as physical security support for NACSPECWAR Group 2 as part of Ocean Venture '93.

No push toward longer drill weekends or any more than 15 day trainings. Unless you're a corpsman assigned to the Marines. Then it's probably a lot like the Army.
