Did anyone else go through this in the Navy?

Assigned to FFG's Guided Missile Frigates for any amount of years, in my case 5, with here is the catcher, Not a TAR OR USN Contract, but a Sea Air Mariner 8 yr Contract, a true NPS non prior service, Selected Reservist Enlistment, after graduate boot-camp.
